A full-height painted run paired with a generous island, planned so prep, cooking and seating each keep their own space.
Lower levels are where a coordinated supplier earns their keep. Cabinetry, flooring and trim all had to work together across a large open footprint, and all three came through one contact on one schedule rather than three trades blaming each other.
Flooring was chosen with the below-grade conditions in mind, and the cabinetry was specified to give the space a defined function rather than leaving it as a large empty room with a sofa in it.
