A full-height painted run paired with a generous island, planned so prep, cooking and seating each keep their own space.
A bar is one of the few cabinet runs where display matters as much as storage. Glass-fronted uppers carry the glassware and keep the wall from feeling solid, while closed base cabinets take everything that should not be on show.
The countertop was specified for spills and cold bottles rather than for a photograph, and the cabinetry finish was matched back to the adjoining room so the bar reads as part of the house instead of an afterthought bolted to a wall.
